When most people consider bugs and larva are too creepy just to look at, Laura Zindel dares to serve them on a plate.



The highly-detailed illustrations of Luna moths, bees, tarantulas, dragonflies, ladybugs and many more that she creates remind us to pictures in biology books or beautiful visual dictionaries. That, combined with high quality ceramics that she uses as canvas, have turned the creepy creatures into work of arts. Provokingly beautiful.






And with plates as beautiful as this, I don't mind eating with these creatures lay underneath my scramble egg or sweet corn soup. Hmm... yummy!

'Hide & Seek', The round 2 collection by Vahada has just came out of its hiding place. They invite you to play.





Inspiration comes from crowds,noises,pressure,hectic and all maximalism that happened around us,so there we trying to hide from all of 'em. Also comes from hidden things, dark into lights, or something good or bad hiding just to looking for any peaceful.
Designs are applied by hands symbol as the icon of 'hide', with pastel colors which combined with dark colors, something like pink, peach, cream, mint, soft grey & blue, also white that together combined with black to get the contrast. Extremely cuttings also created to get the meaning of crowds with sheer fabrics, with softly touch of soft colors to get the peaceful.

COMPLEX SIMPLICITY

Japanese architect Kengo Kuma teamed up with Mayumi Ohmori of Ma,YU, a jewelry design firm, to design a line of jewelry for Vendome Aoyama. The design is inspired by Kengo Kuma's five architecture motif- Chokkura Plaza, Lotus House, Anyouji temple, Ashino/ Stone Museum and Oribe pavillion, these jewelry lines are a revolution in jewelry making.

The Oggau Wine Estate is an Austrian wine growing estate that produce nine wines which differ in character and age. Jung von Matt has been ask to come up with a new identity for these wines. Just like every human has its own individual character ranging from young to mature, playful to complex. Jung von Matt assigned a comic-like style face, a name and a story to these different attributes. Eventually this led to a typical family clan with grandparents, parents and children.
