MAN IN A WOMAN
I stopped breathing for a moment when I ran into this Kimberly Ovitz's Fall/Winter 2009 collections. It strikes me with its masculine, minimalist, all black classic design that I'm a hundred percent sure will last forever.
Her designs also remind me of Nikicio, a promising fashion label motored by a young, uprising fashion designer from Indonesia, Nina, that has similarity in terms of style, simple cuttings and color pallet that she uses.
Quoted from the website: Kimberly Ovitz is a lifestyle collection for women, which embodies Ovitz’s personal style, and reflections of the minimalist art and design she was exposed to while growing up in Los Angeles. The concept of her first collection is “Ladies at the country house having a punk party and raiding the stable”.
And guess what? They got a distribution link in Indonesia. It's well-noted over here. Indonesia rocks!
